Queen Of Hickory Records
Hi Everybody,
Thank you so much for dropping by if only just to see if this little ol' Missouri farm girl is still alive!
Yes, I'm still here! For some time, there was false information all over the Internet that I had passed on to greener pastures in 2005. Not so. I've had the privilege of being around since 1925. A day doesn't go by that you won't find me singing a song or two.
My spirits tell me I'm going to make it past 100. So, I've got lots of songs to sing. And I'm making plans!
I'm writing my autobiography that should be out later this year. I still perform occasionally and I want to do more of that here in the U.S. and abroad, perhaps together with some good old buddies of mine you'll recognize. And I'd love to go back into the studio again to make a new recording.
To my dear old friends, I am so grateful for your kindnesses over so many years.
To new friends, please join me in this toast: Here's to the have-beens, the are-nows and the may-bes.
Sue
